Overview
Design software was built for mouse clicks and menu chains, and foundation models aren't spatially aware enough for engineering design. AlphaCAD, inspired by DeepMind's AlphaFold, applies next-token prediction to design: from a brief or sketch it returns several variations, then proposes the next feature and constraint as you edit.
